Hey
I want to tell you something I have not really talked about before.
I tried a lot of things before this newsletter existed.
Dropshipping. Print on demand. A random freelancing thing that went nowhere. An affiliate site I built and abandoned. A content page I started three times and deleted three times.
Every single one of them had the same story. Start strong. See a little traction. Hit the point where the work gets heavy and repetitive. Then quietly give up and tell yourself the idea was not right.
The idea was always fine. The problem was me trying to run everything manually with no system underneath it.
I was doing research, writing, outreach, scheduling, formatting, customer replies. All of it. Just me. Every day. Alone.
That is not a side hustle. That is a second job that pays badly and slowly kills your motivation.
Then something shifted.
I stopped using AI like a fancy Google search and started using it like an actual operating system for the work I do.
And for the first time in years, things felt stable. Not lucky. Stable.

AI Tool you use daily? |
Here is what most people are doing wrong
They open Claude or ChatGPT, type one thing, get an answer, close the tab.
Then they wonder why AI is not actually changing their results.
That is not using AI. That is just asking a question. There is a massive difference.
The people who are stuck are not stuck because the tools are bad. They are stuck because they never built anything around the tools.
Here is what I changed, and what actually moved the needle:
Set it up properly before you do anything else
Most people skip this entirely.
There is a system prompt in Claude settings. This controls how Claude behaves in every single conversation. You tell it how to respond, how to think, what to ask before jumping in.
I told mine to always ask me clarifying questions before starting anything complex. That one change alone made my outputs dramatically better. Not because I gave it a better prompt. Because it helped me think through what I actually needed before it started.
One setup. Works forever. Takes ten minutes.
Stop using it like a chat window. Start using it like a workspace.
Claude has project folders. Each project holds files, memory, context, and your full conversation history for that topic.
I have one for the newsletter. One for digital products. One for research.
Claude gets sharper inside a project over time because it can reference everything you have built together. Most people never open this tab. They just chat randomly and wonder why the outputs feel generic.
The generic output is a symptom. The cause is zero structure.
Let it build things for you
I needed a tool to crop digital art files into different print sizes. I was doing it manually every single time a new design launched.
I described what I needed to Claude. It built a working web app. One session. No code from my side.
If you are doing something repetitive, there is a very good chance Claude can build something that removes it from your plate permanently. Most people never think to ask.
Connect it to your actual apps
Gmail. Notion. Canva. Google Drive.
Claude can pull your emails, summarize them, draft replies, create documents, design graphics. All without you leaving the chat.
I used to have eight tabs open to do things that now happen in one place. That is not a small thing when you are running something alone.
Schedule it to run without you
Every few hours, customer emails get drafted based on my policies. I review. I approve. That is my entire customer service workflow now.
Every Friday, files get organized automatically.
If you are a one-person operation, this is the thing that gives you your time back. Not a little bit. A lot.
Your meetings just got a lot more useful
Granola connects your meeting notes to tools like Claude and ChatGPT, so your AI actually understands your work context. Update your CRM, extract tasks, or write follow-ups without copy-pasting a thing.

Build a skill for anything you repeat
A skill is basically an instruction file. You build it once, and Claude follows it every time without you re-explaining anything.
I have one for newsletter emails. It knows my tone, my format, my rules. I open a new session and it already knows how I write. I do not re-teach it. I just describe the task.
The hours I was burning re-explaining myself every session are gone.
The bigger picture tool most people ignore
Claude Code sounds technical. It is not.
Think of it as a place where Claude can access all your business files at once and work across them simultaneously. Research, documents, scripts, everything in one place.
It is the difference between asking one person to do everything one at a time and having a team work in parallel. Once you see it, you cannot go back.

Here is what I know now that I wish I knew two years ago.
The side hustles did not fail because the ideas were bad.
They failed because I was the bottleneck. And I was the bottleneck because I had no system. Just effort. And effort alone runs out.
AI did not make me work less. It made the work stop draining me. There is a difference.
The things I used to spend whole days on now take an hour. The repetitive stuff runs without me. What is left is the work I actually want to be doing.
That is what stability feels like. Not more hustle. Better systems.
Pick one thing from this list. Just one. Set it up this week. See what happens.
