You need only 3 AI Tools
Here’s how I actually use them

AI Agents Are Reading Your Docs. Are You Ready?
Last month, 48% of visitors to documentation sites across Mintlify were AI agents—not humans.
Claude Code, Cursor, and other coding agents are becoming the actual customers reading your docs. And they read everything.
This changes what good documentation means. Humans skim and forgive gaps. Agents methodically check every endpoint, read every guide, and compare you against alternatives with zero fatigue.
Your docs aren't just helping users anymore—they're your product's first interview with the machines deciding whether to recommend you.
That means:
→ Clear schema markup so agents can parse your content
→ Real benchmarks, not marketing fluff
→ Open endpoints agents can actually test
→ Honest comparisons that emphasize strengths without hype
In the agentic world, documentation becomes 10x more important. Companies that make their products machine-understandable will win distribution through AI.
Let me start with something real. When I first started using AI seriously, it was overwhelming.
Every day there was a new tool, a new model, a new “this will change everything” tweet.
I wasted weeks:
– Testing tools that looked cool but broke my workflow
– Switching models mid-task
– Getting 80% right answers that failed because one small detail was missed
That phase was frustrating. Not because AI was not powerful but because I didn’t know which tool to trust for what.
Today, things are very different. I still use around 10 AI tools for ~90% of my work, but my daily backbone comes down to just three:
ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude
They may look interchangeable on the surface. They are not. Each one has a clear job in my day. Let me break it down simply.

Mystery Link
(The mystery link is ANYTHING AI-related: tools, memes, articles, videos, AI News and more…)
1. ChatGPT → When I cannot afford mistakes
ChatGPT’s superpower is obedience. It I give it a long checklist, multiple constraints or step-by-step instructions it follows every single one without being bias.
Other models are smart, but they sometimes “decide” what matters. ChatGPT doesn’t.
That’s why I use it for:
– Complex prompts
– Framework-heavy tasks
– Anything where missing one step breaks everything
If the task has many moving parts, I start with ChatGPT. Always.
2. Gemini → When my input is messy (video, audio, files)
Gemini is my multimodal beast.
I use it when my input looks like real life:
– A screen recording
– A meeting video
– Slides + notes + images
Gemini can swallow all of it in one go and still make sense of it.
For example: I will upload a messy walkthrough video and ask it to turn that into a clean SOP. Or drop a meeting recording + deck + whiteboard photo and get a summary + follow-up email.
Is its reasoning sometimes slightly behind ChatGPT? Yes. Do I care when it saves me hours? Not at all.
If the task involves media or massive files, Gemini wins.

3. Claude → When I want the final version, not a rough draft
Claude handles my last mile. Its first drafts are simply… better.
I use Claude for:
– Polishing newsletters
– Tightening arguments
– Matching my writing voice
– Writing code that actually works on the first try
When I want something to sound human, clean, and publish-ready — Claude is my closer.
My workflow usually looks like this:
Idea → ChatGPT or Gemini
Refinement → Claude
The mistake most people make
Trying to use one AI tool for everything. You don’t need all three. Most people should master just ChatGPT and be done.
But if your work demands:
– Accuracy
– Media-heavy inputs
– High-quality final output
Then mixing tools intentionally beats tool-hopping randomly. AI isn’t about using more tools. It’s about using the right one at the right moment.
That shift alone changed my productivity completely.
In the next newsletter, I’ll break down specialist AI tools I use when accuracy and speed matter more than creativity.
Until then keep it simple, stay intentional.
