It’s been quite a long that I am experimenting with Google Gemini.
And guess what I found is Its really smooth and gives better result than ChatGPT in many use cases.
Gemini now leads in multimodal reasoning (text, images, video), handles long context more reliably, and pulls fresher, more accurate information thanks to Google’s live web infrastructure.
Gemini is baked directly into Search, YouTube, Gmail, Docs, Android, and Chrome, turning AI from a “tool you open” into a default layer of daily work.
Anyways We will discuss more about on that in upcoming days.
Right Now I want to to share 3 of my favourite productivity tips for Google Gemini that are universally applicable.
Today’s Sponsor
Leadership Can’t Be Automated
AI can help you move faster, but real leadership still requires human judgment.
The free resource 5 Traits AI Can’t Replace explains the traits leaders must protect in an AI-driven world and why BELAY Executive Assistants are built to support them.
Tip #1: The Chrome Shortcut
If Chrome is your main browser, this shortcut can save you from constant tab-switching.
Here's how it works:
Press CMD/CTRL + T to open a new tab
Type @gemini followed by TAB.
You can now start prompting Gemini without ever navigating to their web app

💡 Bonus tip: Assign "https://gemini.google.com/app" to a custom shortcut in your launcher app (like Raycast, Alfred, or PowerToys). This lets you open Gemini directly from your desktop with a single keystroke.
Tip #2: My Most Frequently Used Prompt (Ever)
I use this one prompt almost every day—easily 5 times or more—to clean up my writing. I’m not even exaggerating.
Whenever something feels slightly off, I drop it into this prompt.
====START====
I want you to edit my writing. I’ll share an excerpt. Please improve it without changing my tone.
Make it clearer and more direct
Avoid obvious AI phrases like “dive into,” “unleash,” or “game-changing”
Do not use em-dashes
Keep the message focused and well structured
Use simple, natural words
Give me 3 variations
Here’s the excerpt:
====END====
Why this works so well: it’s flexible. I use it for everything—short Slack messages, emails, tweets, even long YouTube scripts. Every time, it comes back cleaner and sharper without sounding robotic.
And the real win? You don’t get just one rewrite. You get three options, so you can pick the one that feels the most like you. That actually leads into my next tip.
Fast, accurate financial writeups
When accuracy matters, typing can introduce errors and slow you down. Wispr Flow captures your spoken thinking and turns it into formatted, number-ready text for reports, investor notes, and executive briefings. It cleans filler words, enforces clear lists, and keeps your voice professional. Use voice snippets for standard financial lines, recurring commentary, or compliance-ready summaries. Works on Mac, Windows, and iPhone. Try Wispr Flow for finance.
Tip #3: Always Give Yourself Options
This one is almost too simple, but it’s incredibly useful: just add “give me 3 variations” at the end of your prompt.
We’ve all faced this. You write what feels like a solid prompt, but the output isn’t quite there. Maybe the tone feels too stiff. Maybe the main idea shows up at the end when you wanted it upfront.
When I ask Gemini for three variations, at least one version usually clicks right away. And even if none are perfect, I just mix and match—pull the best lines from each and create something better than the original.

Pro tip: This works best for subject lines, social posts, and any writing where tone matters more than perfect technical accuracy.
That’s all for this week. Try these tips and tell me which one saved you the most time.
My final thoughts:
All three tips solve the same problem from different angles:
friction. Less friction opening Gemini, less friction fixing your writing, and less friction getting to a version that actually feels right.
You don’t need complex prompts or fancy workflows.
Small habits like shortcuts and asking for variations compound fast. They save minutes every day, and over time, that adds up to better output with less effort.
Try just one of these this week. Once it sticks, add the next. That’s usually how the biggest productivity gains happen.
And as always, thanks for being here and learning with me.
